Solacium offers wilderness programs, residential treatment centers and young adult transitional programs that specialize in helping youth and young adults with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, ADHD, adoption issues, substance abuse and learning challenges.
Unlike our competition we are not sure we have a school or program that can help your child. So please contact one of our admissions counselors to see if our services are appropriate for your child’s needs. Residential treatment center and boarding school for teen girls
Sunrise Residential Treatment Center offers a comprehensive residential treatment program that help struggling teens achieve positive change in their lives. Alldredge Wilderness Journey
a nationally recognized, wilderness program for at-risk youth
Alldredge Wilderness Journey is a licensed wilderness therapy program and accredited alternative school for troubled teens ages 13 through 18. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of North Central West Virginia, Alldredge provides adolescents with unique therapeutic experiences that create a desire to change. Our therapists and staff guide students through our emotional growth process by implementing innovative and effective therapeutic interventions. We provide academics, experiential learning, individual and group therapy, and intensive family workshops to help our students and families address issues and move towards a successful, healthy future.

For Young Women
At Fulshear Ranch Academy, young women (age 18 and over) are invited on a journey of self-discovery and education. Transitions of Galveston Island
A Transitional Program For Young Men Struggling With Addiction
Transitions of Galveston Island is an 8 to 12-month community that provides young men 18 and older a sober college living experience. Our three-phase, 12-Step-based community is designed for young men who are struggling with substance abuse or other addictions. TGI helps them transition from residential treatment centers, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, wilderness programs, and therapeutic boarding schools to stable independence.

Sommerville
Young Adult Community
Sommerville is a healing community, unlike any other, for young adults ages 18 and over. Our program specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD), Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger’s, and other neurobehavioral conditions. Often misunderstood, our residents have experienced many obstacles throughout their lives. As a result, they have struggled at home and school, in other programs, or at work. Sommerville provides a safe and supportive setting where young men and women are able to explore their strengths and interests in order to experience successes.
